Our People
The teachers, support staff and leaders who make Koiwa Boys' a community of excellence — and the young men they shape each day.
A dedicated team
The people behind the school
Behind every Koiwa boy is a committed team — the Senior Principal and his deputies, heads of department and subject teachers, the boarding, welfare and guidance staff, and the support staff who keep the school running day and night.
Together they create the safe, disciplined and inspiring environment that has earned Koiwa its reputation and its elevation to a national school.
Teaching staff
A strong, qualified teaching staff across all departments — English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, the Sciences, Social Sciences, Technical subjects and Arts & Sports — committed to results and to the whole development of every learner. Meet the heads of department →
Support staff
Our support staff — the office, kitchen, boarding, grounds, farm, transport and security teams — are the backbone of daily life at Koiwa, keeping the school safe, clean, fed and running smoothly for every boy.
Our learners
Young men of Koiwa
At the centre of it all are the students — disciplined, ambitious young men in the school's distinctive uniform, learning in class, competing on the field, leading in the dormitories and representing Koiwa with pride.
