About Koiwa Boys' Senior School

Our heritage, vision and values — and the team that leads a school built on excellence, discipline and faith.

Our story

Heritage & identity

Koiwa Boys' has grown into one of the respected boys' boarding schools of the South Rift, serving families from Litein and far beyond. Known for generations as Koiwa Boys' High School (KBH), the school has transitioned into Koiwa Boys' Senior School under Kenya's Competency-Based Curriculum — now home to three CBC Senior Schools: STEM, Social Sciences, and Arts & Sports Science.

Through the dedication of its Board of Management, Parents' Association, staff and alumni, the school has steadily expanded its facilities — the Legacy Complex, a new science laboratory and modern learning spaces among them — while holding firm to the values that define a Koiwa man.

A note for the school: the founding year, sponsoring church and detailed historical milestones are best confirmed by the school for publication. We have kept this section factual and neutral until those details are provided. [Confirm with the school office.]

Ethos & chaplaincy

Faith, character and a God-centred community

“With God, all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26
